MIKE WHITNEY VISIT
"Sydney Weekender" at a re-enactment
Hey One Hey All... Did you hear the town cryer when Mike Whitney came to Old Mogo Town?
Mike enjoyed one of the fabulous re-eanactment weekends, got held up by the notorious "Clarke Brothers", ended up in the stocks himself, and even endulged in some "horse-chat" at the bar in the Diggers Rest Tavern.
The episode was aired on Sydney Weekender on April 12th 2008
Follow Mike's advice and come for an hour for a guided tour of the 1850's gold minining era. Spend as long as you like panning for gold. You might strike it lucky with your Gold Fever.
Stay the night in one of our custom built miner's cabins, or bookk for a week. Next re-enactment June Long Weekend

HAND PAINTED MURAL
ABORIGINAL CULTURAL EXPERIENCE MOGO PRIMARY AND PRE-SCHOOL.
Under the auspices and guidance of Koorie artists and educators Rod Slockee, Norma Petterson and Kizzie, the students of Mogo have left a lasting impression of cross cultural harmony. The mural is painted along the length of the solar heated swimming pool.
Our cultural mural features many interesting symbols of our local area. The children from Mogo Primary School and pre-school had a wonderful day painting and have done a great job.
The Wonderful inspirational dot painted surfboard by Norma Petterson was purchased by Mike Whitney on his recent visit
WOLLONDILLY WANDERERS ULYSSES CLUB
CHRISTMAS PARTY Nov 2007
After the successfull Christmas in July, held at Old Mogo Town, the Club has booked us out and arrived for their Christmas Bash.
Motor Cycles from Harley Davidsons to Classic British, made their way from Mittagong past Batemans Bay to Old Mogo Town.
The Ulysses Club Motto of "Growing Old Disgracefully" has found resonance with the 1850's Gold Rush Theme Park. The members from Wollondilly dress up and look the part, dare we suggest that they are enjoying a second childhood, or never left their first.
